Health In the ICU of Health Department!

Health In the ICU of Health Department!

Providing basic necessities to the citizens is one of the basic duties of the state. Only a healthy nation can guarantee the development of the country, but unfortunately, there is no healthcare system in our country, not millions but crores of citizens are deprived of quality medical facilities. Our country is a neighbor and close friend of China who controlled Corona in the first place. If we wanted, we could have taken advantage of its friendship and cooperation and allocated the budget for the Corona vaccine in time to rid Pakistan of Corona first.

But the government did the same in the case of Corona as the BRT has been doing in the case of Peshawar. The health sector has long been neglected in the Kingdom of God-given Pakistan, and this trend continues despite the fact that this sector is given key importance in the civilized world. Allocates a large portion of the budget to provide the best facilities. If we look at the economic survey of the last financial year, Punjab, the largest province of Pakistan with 111,242 people, spent Rs 90.10 billion on health, ie only Rs 819 for the health of an individual in a year.

Sindh, which ranks second in terms of population, spent Rs 62.50 billion on the health of its 47.886 million citizens, ie Rs 1305 per citizen per year. The big government hospitals in our country like Lahore, Islamabad, Karachi, Multan are established not only to provide health facilities to the entire population of the country but also to provide quality treatment to the citizens living in these cities. Don't have the ability There is no medicine here and the required number of doctors are not able to do their job properly. Dates are given for minor treatments and tests, doctors in government hospitals advise patients to be tested in private laboratories, and as a result, humanity is sobbing in the corridors of hospitals.

Despite receiving huge salaries and benefits from government hospitals, every good doctor must have a private clinic. In government hospitals, no attention is paid to patients with broken ribs. Deadly diseases like diabetes, hepatitis, TB, etc. are considered orphan wards. Totally deprived of and at the mercy of semi-wise kind of physicians. In addition to this, the business of counterfeit medicines is also going on in full swing in Pakistan.

Such news is being published prominently in print and electronic media on a daily basis, but so far no group playing with the lives of citizens has been made such a role model. Jaska could set an example for others. Unfortunately, due to air pollution, poor diet, poisoned spray vegetables, broiler meat, and bad water in Pakistan, people are suffering from deadly diseases in every household. Suffering from diabetes, which is said to cause death or life-like death. In a low-income country like Pakistan, the phrase seems somewhat correct when a white-clad person knows that he or she has contracted an expensive disease such as diabetes or hepatitis B.C. Dar, parents, wife, and children die while they are alive.

According to Article 38 of the Constitution of Pakistan, "the basic duty of the state is to ensure that all its citizens, regardless of religion, gender, caste, creed or ethnicity, have access to basic necessities of life, including health and medical care." The Government of Pakistan has signed the United Nations Millennium Declaration on Human Health (UN Millenium Declaration) under which every civilized state has a duty to provide the people with better health facilities, a clean environment, clean water and In addition to providing unadulterated food, make arrangements to alleviate poverty so that citizens are less likely to get sick. Of course, our country has a low budget for hospitals, doctors, and health, but most of all we need transparency in the health sector.

The budget is low but if its misuse is stopped, there can be a lot of relief. There are few clinics but the existing hospitals can be improved by ensuring better facilities. There is a shortage of doctors, paramedics, and other staff, but with the increase in training and benefits in line with the modern requirements of the existing workforce, the problems can be largely overcome. The medical profession is concerned with the service of humanity for which a spirit of human compassion is essential. Therefore, students in medical institutions should be made aware that their purpose in life is not merely to earn money but to please God through human service. And the reward is the attainment of the Hereafter. There is a need for the government to take all possible steps to improve the health sector and provide quality services.
